Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 29, 2026
This policy explains how CleanMyRows handles personal data when you use our website, account features, data-cleaning tools, and support channels.
1. Data we collect
We may collect account details such as your name and email address; technical and security information such as IP address, browser type, request logs, and session data; product usage and performance information; and information you choose to send when requesting support.
2. Files you process
Format conversion is designed to run in your browser. Data-cleaning files are parsed in the browser, but when you are signed in an original file may also be uploaded to private storage to support account features. Uploaded files are not public and are scheduled for automatic deletion after the configured retention period, currently seven days. Do not upload data you are not authorized to process.
3. How we use data
We use data to provide and secure the service, authenticate accounts, operate requested features, prevent misuse, diagnose problems, improve reliability, communicate about the service, and comply with legal obligations. Where applicable, processing is based on performance of a contract, legitimate interests, consent, or legal requirements.
4. Service providers and transfers
We use service providers including Supabase for authentication, database, and private file storage, and Vercel for hosting, delivery, and performance analytics. They process data on our behalf under their own security and data-processing terms. Depending on where you live, data may be processed in another country with appropriate safeguards.
5. Retention and security
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes described here, account administration, security, and legal obligations. We use access controls, private storage, encrypted transport, and operational safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
6. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or export personal data, object to certain processing, withdraw consent, and complain to a data-protection authority. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
7. Marketing messages
We send marketing messages only where we have an appropriate permission or other lawful basis. Marketing consent is optional and is recorded separately from account acceptance. Every marketing message will provide a way to unsubscribe. We retain a hashed suppression record so that we can honor opt-out requests without continuing to use the address for marketing.
8. Children and changes
The service is not directed to children under 16. We may update this policy as the product or law changes; the date above shows the latest revision.
